SHIPPING (SAFE, PROFESSIONAL AND EXPERIANCED)

Dear POLISH POTTERY fans, Visitors and Followers of More4U and Poland Tailored Tours4U

Regarding my packing and shipping services and generally shipping operations from Poland and EU to the USA:

As of Dec  2025- THE BLOCKADE IS STILL ACTIVE. Unfortunately, there is no debate between Poland (and EU) and the US administration about lifting the temporary blockade. I keep monitoring the situation.

It feld on us on August 22nd – completely out of the blue! Perhaps you have already heard about it ( e.g. by https://www.wfsb.com/2025/08/23/european-postal-services-suspend-shipment-packages-us-over-import-tariffs/

Due to the POSTAL BLOCKADE, More4U offers packing service and COURIER air freight shipment(by POLAMER and UPS or FedEx ) available within the fees from 190 USD to 650 USD per box-
final cost depends on complex factors listed below:

  • Final Gross Weightof final parcel/ parcels
  • Dimensionsof final parcel/ parcels
  • zip codeof the delivery address (+$30- $35 to chosen locations)
  • valueof contents (+ $20 up to 2000USD value or 1% over that value) ,
  • pre- holidayperiods (+ $10 in chosen periods)
  • using or not using stretch foil on the outside of boxes (without it is cheaper by approx.
    15- 17 USD per box)
  • exchange rateof Polish PLN to USD (the range of $190- $650 is valid for exchange rate of 3.50 PLN to 1 USD and within + / - 2% of that rate) ,
  • possible other boxes sent together with that one to the same address at the same time (with two and more parcels sent at once, discounts from approx. 20 USD and more are offered)
  • Please notice that extra tariff and custom service charges (15%) may be issued upon or prior to delivery
And due to the sustained general
1️⃣5️⃣% tariff policy (since Aug 2025) for all goods imported from the EU to the US, please note that:
• The tariff calculation is based on the value of the goods including shipping and insurance costs.
• As of August 29, 2025, the de minimis exemption, which previously allowed for duty-free shipments under $800, was suspended for most imports to the US.
• Customs clearance: This means that virtually all shipments are now subject to US customs duties and taxes.
• Additional fees: In addition to tariffs, other fees like customs clearance service fees and potential taxes can also be applied
So in other words, whether you are now buying Polish POTTERY in the US, or at the source in Boleslawiec – you are kinda made to cover the cost of the tariff, because the dealers in the US are automatically transferring that cost to the price on the shelve ????.
Now… some of the other ideas listed below may sound a bit crazy????, BUT in few cases they have worked out!????????????
B ) Shipping to ????????CANADA – if you live close by the border and perhaps have family, friends or a business there, parcels can be easily delivered by POLISH AND CANADIAN MAIL there
C) Shipping to ???????? MEXICO – the same rule. However, I have never used this solution yet.
D ) Shipping to GERMANY???????? or another EU???????? country by DPD or GLS courier (reasonably cheap) – easy peasy , but then you have to figure out how to get it from there to the US of course. Perhaps through family or friends? US Army?
E) Shipping to family or a friend of yours (in Poland or EU ) who may be moving to the US soon and could do a favor for you by taking your pottery along
F) Packing your goods tentatively ????(not as for shipping, but only careful carrying) and taking them with you. This solution would obviously add a significant risk of breakages, but with simple matching shapes, carefully carried in your carryon, could work out
G) Assisting you at purchasing a suitcase???? at a local supermarket (they are available at Carrefour supermarket and CCC shop with footwear and bags) and providing you wrapping materials (cardboard inserts and bubble wrap) to take the goods with you. This solution is obviously limited by weight, size and shape of your pottery and generates extra costs of suitcase purchase and additional luggage (and with many airlines that charge is substantial, I know). Also the luggage staff at airports do not treat suitcases carefully, so the risk there is also serious. But I do know cases when it worked out with ZERO damage. Or you can repack your clothes to the extra luggage and carry the wrapped and secured pottery in your carryon.
H) And last, but not least-???? leaving all your purchases with me, I continue the packing operation like the postal blockade did not exist and once it is over, I would ship your parcel(s) immediately. Quite a few boxes have been waiting in my storage for that moment to come.
However, this solution brings 2 questions : 1) when the blockade is lifted (this nonsense cannot last forever)⏳️ ? 2) what the postal charges will look like after that happens???? (to make up the lost revenue and update the rates by inflation, exchange rate and adapt to high rates of courier companies, I have no doubts the post offices will increase their stakes).
However, frankly I do not thing that the US administration will lift the tariffs and renew the postal services soon, IF at any point in further future ... :(
